I Love Who You Are, Do You? Key to life # 1.7 Treat Everyone As An Individual

I've noticed as time goes by, more and more I become convinced that life is about energy, the heart of a creature and expanding knowledge above that which is of the world and into that which is not. What does world synergy look like to you, what's your take on it? Over all is it good, or is it predominantly negative energy? I tend to think that overall it is good.

And I think that we, the U.S. have a lot to do with that.

I believe that man has come a very long way. I think we have a long way to go, but overall we really are making an effort to do what's right. I know it can be hard at times to see it that way. A point at hand would be the recent focus on police shootings and the deaths of innocent people by police in American cities across the nation.

I try not to get too caught up in such matters from a personal point of view. As a writer and blogger I need to look at matters from more than one perspective, get at the truth of a matter and write it. If I'm to speak to you about social matters, I should at least offer a unique perspective with some kind of resolution suggested. When I hear of police shootings of black Americans in the context and frequency of recent months I get focused and concerned. Because it becomes obvious that this has been going on right under our noses all along. It's pretty easy to be pulled into the conversations about it on social networks too.

But really, what is the general state of race relations in America?

In my opinion it could be a lot better, but I will give you this. A murderous heart doesn't really care what it's murdering. It's a sickness that doesn't discriminate. A lot of Americans of all colors are concerned. And as an ebony person myself I know that it becomes easy for conspiracy theories to start popping up in your head. And, those theories can shape your perception of your environment, your government, state, cities and neighborhood. It can send an individual off on a vendetta. It can color your view of other white individuals who are actually hating these murderers too, unbeknownst to you.

All races of people are pretty sensitive about the killing of innocent people and we don't care what color the victim is.

I'll be the first to to admit that if I think a white person has been killed because of their race or skin color, I get crazy angry. I just think mankind should be bigger than that. I like it when I see a white person shopping at a black owned and operated business, or reading and participating on a black owned and operated blog on the Internet.

It reminds me that everyone, each person regardless of skin color is an individual and unless they prove otherwise, they should be treated kindly and loved. Its how I live my life and I'll never allow that to be influenced and changed. It is wrong and self destructive to hold grievance against a people. I hold everyone accountable for their own actions:

Individuals make individual decisions whether coaxed or not, they do make the finally decision to act.

When an individual makes the decision to kill another person, they alone are responsible for that decision. And they alone will reap the consequences of their action at the day's end. No one else whether involved or not is going to voluntarily share and take responsibility for that decision even when they may have played a part in coaxing the act.

So my advice is to be fair to yourself and other people in your assessment of one person's behavior. How you handle your response to these kind of matters can adversely affect your mind and your own joy in living. Yes we must address injustice, but we should be cautious of how we approach it so we don't hurt our own ability to enjoy life down the road.

People do bad things, but people also do very good things. I know, I was raised in my early childhood years by a white woman back in Austin Texas where I was born. And everybody knows how racist that part of the country can be.

This lady was my mother for a long time and she loved me dearly. She's gone now.

My maternal mother reminds me from time to time to never forget her. I just say I know mom, I won't. Each of us is an individual suffering of the difficulties inherent to life in a world of freaks and degenerates who come in all colors. And we all must agree with that assessment. Freaks and degenerates shoot up schools, participate in human trafficking, and other really ugly behaviors. Life is hard and we must remain balanced and stay focused on the good things of life so we can remain whole for the sake of ourselves and others. That's another key to life!

Seek to understand where you are and you'll understand what you see and hear.

Just always remember to celebrated the good people among us. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. They are the ones that make our lives fulfilling and worthwhile in spite of all the uglies here. You could be in the company of someone who would lay their life down to save yours. Don't be dummified by their color. Treat everyone as an individual.
